Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, America’s of a global logistics & freight forwarder specializing in innovative shipping management solutions, our client has evolved into one of the leading providers of fully integrated supply chain solutions. With 28 offices and more than 400 team members globally they will continue to strive for aggressive growth in the coming years.

The Strategic Sales Executive, Key Accounts will have a primary focus to develop, manage and maintain a portfolio of Key Accounts, potentially with large air freight volume. Will coordinate the pre-sales and post-sales activities with the pricing, sales support, and marketing departments; partnering with overseas offices is important to bring performance. There is no regional limitation within the US for this position.

Background Required:
  • International & domestic freight forwarding / NVOCC experience (10+ years)
  • Excellent knowledge of multiple shipment modes; primarily air freight, ocean & land
  • Have existing client relationships, and book of business (no limit to the region)
  • Track record of sales success
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Education: BA or BS Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Residence: Commutable to Garden City, NY
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience with Oracle CRM
  • Air freight operations
  • Understanding of the transportation sector’s innovation, technology & CRM tools
  • Education: Advanced degree
