Our client is a 240 bed hospital in beautiful San Fernando Valley. Offering world class care under the leadership of an extraordinary CEO, this hospital seeks an outstanding Director of Behavioral health to steer the Behavioral Health service line to the next level in 2021.
Details on the position:
- 38 bed lockdown unit.
- 82 employees including charge RNs.
- Reports to the CNO.
Education/Training/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Current CA RN License Required.
- Current BLS.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the psychiatric needs of patients served with knowledge of principles of LPS guidelines.
- Ability to assess and interpret data in order to identify patient needs and provide the appropriate care, including level of psychiatric care, needed for adult patient population.
- Three (3) years of experience in Behavioral Health nursing with one (1) year in a management/leadership role.
- Working knowledge of CA Nursing Regulations (Title 22, DMH, TJC, etc.).
