Must have a BSN Must have a current, unencumbered OR state license or the ability to get one before hire. Must have 10 years of experience clinical nursing with 5 years of that time in an acute care setting Must have 5 years of experience in progressive leadership and management roles Must have a solid quality background - know how to plan, direct and supervise the activities of quality, resource and risk management and performance improvement programs Must have experience with external agencies such as the Joint Commission and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services Must have experience working in a moderate to large hospital setting

This is a great opportunity to: Provide administrative leadership for planning, developing and implementing Quality Management, Medical Staff Services, and Risk Management programs. Serve as the liaison to external agencies such as the Joint Commission, Livanta/QIO, Oregon Health Authority, and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Be an active participant of a dynamic leadership team for the Oregon Region Quality Management & Medical Staff Services Division. Plans, organizes and directs Quality Initiatives and Medical Staff processes, ensuring that appropriate support is given to senior hospital leadership, the Quality Medical Director, the voluntary Professional Staff leadership, and the Division Chiefs of the Professional Staff.
