Our client, a custom air brake assembler and integrator for semi-trailer manufacturers, is currently seeking a Vice President of Operations to join their growing team in Dexter, MI.

 Purpose

 The VP of Operations is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the company’s supply chain. This role also runs day-to-day operations in a very hands-on way to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality products & performance.


Reporting Structure

  • Position will directly report to the Owner/CEO
  • Responsibility for plant managers and team members


Competencies

  • Experience in manufacturing and materials management
  • Understanding of balance sheets
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Capable of completing customer order entries & invoicing
