Our client is a trusted supplier of used tractors, new tractor parts, and accessories to dealers and owners throughout New Zealand.

But it is not just tractors, they also repair and refurbish a wide range of machinery such as bucket trucks, elevated work platforms, telehandlers and farm implements.

They are based in Kamo, Whangarei and are seeking a motivated and skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their growing team.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, especially with tractors and varied machinery
  • A high degree of versatility and the ability to problem-solve
  • Confidence working both on-site and off-site across a range of equipment
  • A keen awareness of Health & Safety practices
  • Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills
  • Class 1 driver’s licence

You’ll also be willing to lend a hand with general yard and workshop tasks, including:

  • Tyre stripping and fitting using specialized machinery
  • Equipment and access machine maintenance
  • Hydraulic hose repairs and servicing
  • Workshop organization and general maintenance
