Due to growth we are looking for a Diesel Mechanics to work in our BRAND NEW MAINTENANCE FACILITY in the Searcy, AR location.
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay is $20.00-$28.00 per hour, based on qualifications.
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
- Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week.
- Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule:
- 4-day work week (Off Tues or Wed and weekends).
- Rotate 1 weekend per month with other drivers (4-hours on Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Typically work 10-hour shifts, 6:00am-4:30pm; work until work is completed.
- Work inside, in a BRAND NEW MAINTENANCE FACILITY with heat and air conditioning.
- Schedule flexibility may be available based on candidate's needs.
- Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance of diesel trucks.
- Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals.
- Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations).
- Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working on air brakes.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience managing preventative maintenance program on diesel engines.
- Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair.
- Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), and FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections.
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
- Candidate must provide his/her own tools.
- Must have a valid and current US driver's license; no CDL required.
