The Position:
An automotive supplier in Kentwood, MI is looking for DIE SETTERS!

Shift:
2nd: 2pm-10pm

3rd: 10:55pm - 7am

(There are NO 1st shift opportunities at this time)

WAGE:
$18+/hr based on skillset and experience.

Job Description
-Leads in setting up dies and related equipment
-Completes entire die changeover from last-piece to first-piece in a safe and efficient manner.
-Ability to accomplish die sets, press operations and troubleshooting of Injection Mold processes in a methodical manner.
- Ability to change over multiple part number dies.
-Trained as Mold Operator and is capable of running a press as necessary.
-Maintains work area in a clean and safe condition, following 5S standards.
-Responsible for following work instructions KanBan pull systems
-Understanding and working knowledge of all job related Quality Objectives, Quality System Policies, Procedures, and Instructions.

Must

  • MUST have experience as a Plastic Injection mold Operator or equivalent
  • Must have experience as a DIE SETTER
  • Hilo and Crane license required.
  • Must have NO lifting or standing restrictions
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Read/Speak & understand the English Language
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

NOTE:
1. The noise level is moderate. All proper PPE must be worn in all manufacturing areas and responsible for maintaining PPE standards
