Its network of hospitals and healthcare facilities include multiple hospitals, urgent cares, imaging centers and other satellite offices.

The system is also part of an award-winning national multi-state hospital system, with 44 acute-care hospitals providing nearly 43,500 jobs in 14 states.

They currently have a need for multiple Hemodialysis Coordinators/RNs due to an aggressive service expansion.

Job description/Responsibilities:

• The Dialysis Coordinator (RN) is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Inpatient Renal Care Unit.
• The Dialysis Coordinator (RN) is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients.
• He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patients clinical condition including monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Required Qualification:

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Maintains acquired knowledge and remains current in advancements in nephrology? especially Inpatient.
• Certification in Nephrology Nursing, Apheresis Nursing or both is highly encouraged.
• 2 years’ acute care Hemodialysis Experience required.

****This is a regional position covering multiple local hospitals within very close distance of one another****
