Preferred Talent Solutions is seeking a qualified Diagnostic Radiologist to join our medical team. In this role, you will interpret diagnostic imaging studies and collaborate with clinical staff to support high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasound examinations.
• Provide timely and accurate diagnostic reporting.
• Consult with attending physicians regarding imaging results and recommendations

Mandatory Qualifications & Credentials

To qualify for consideration under VA credentialing guidelines, candidates must possess the following:

• Board Certification: Active Board Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) is mandatory.
• Medical License: Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia. (Note: Candidates with a history of license restriction, suspension, revocation, or voluntary surrender pending action will not be considered).
• Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Registrations: Current DEA registration and active NPI (National Provider Identifier) profile.
• Experience & Skills: Demonstrated technical proficiency across the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures.
• Occupational Health Requirements:
• Current TB screening (TST or IGRA).
• Verified immunity to MMR and Varicella.
• Documentation of Tdap vaccination and annual Influenza vaccination.
• Completed Hepatitis B vaccination series and post-vaccination surface antigen testing.
• Background Clearances: Must pass HHS OIG exclusion screening and complete required VA mandatory training modules prior to start.

Schedule & Call Expectations

• Regular Onsite Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Time. Two IR physicians are required onsite concurrently during normal operating hours.
• On-Call Availability: Off-hours, weekend, and holiday call coverage is rotated and shared between contractor and VA staff.
• Response Requirements:
• Must be available for phone consultation within 15 minutes of notification.
• Must arrive onsite at the facility within 60 minutes when called back for urgent procedure coverage.
