Diagnostic Radiologist (Full-Time, Onsite/Remote)

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team in the picturesque Finger Lakes region at the MRI Department of a large health center. Salary: $470,000.00 - $570,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely diagnostic services including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and basic NM.
  • Engage in weekday imaging coverage onsite or remotely from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Participate in night service preliminary reads for all modalities from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am daily.
  • Handle weekday call from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and weekend call from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for cross-sectional imaging.
  • Interpret and report on diagnostic images, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy.
  • Maintain professional knowledge and participate in continuing education activities.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiology.
  • Proficiency in X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and basic NM.
  • Valid NYS medical license or eligibility.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or training in mammography, especially for candidates interested in on-site roles.
  • Prior experience in a large health center or hospital-based imaging department.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills:

  • High level of proficiency in radiological technologies and tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
