Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join our progressive and community-focused children's hospital in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves providing specialized and comprehensive care for children with developmental and behavioral issues, in an outpatient setting, with minimal inpatient responsibilities. Salary: $200,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care to children in an outpatient setting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including audiologists, speech therapists, psychologists, and social workers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Educate and mentor medical students, nurse practitioner students, and pediatric residents.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to optimize care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in program development and support the hospital's mission through innovative projects.
  • Mentor junior faculty and providers, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence within the team.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • MD, DO or equivalent international medical degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Fellowship training from an ACGME accredited Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics program.
  • Unrestricted Medical License in the Commonwealth of PA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leadership roles in pediatric and developmental behavioral settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate in clinical care and patient management.

Skills:

  • Expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of developmental and behavioral problems.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both the healthcare team and patient families.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, promoting a collaborative and educational environment.
