We are seeking a DevOps Engineer for a remote organization! This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving, coding, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Core duties and responsibilities include:

  • Architect and implement DevSecOps solutions for new and existing IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple web applications and microservices.
  • Deploy applications across multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Production).
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Write clean, maintainable scripts using Python and Bash/Zsh for automation and system tooling.
  • Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters, particularly with Azure Kubernetes Services.
  • Ensure systems security and compliance by integrating security best practices into DevOps workflows.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools. (GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, AWD CDK, Chef or Puppet.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
  • Database management experience (SQL, ORMs) and familiarity with integrating security components.
  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a government issued clearance.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is from $120K to $140K, depending on experience.
