Main Sequence, a 25-year-old, 50-person team dedicated to revolutionizing the recruitment industry and located in zip code 40094, is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us continue to drive the growth of our self-hosted Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server ATS CRM product. This is a critical role for our organization, as it involves ensuring our platform is always up, running smoothly, and providing an excellent user experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and speed.
- Monitor platform performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement infrastructure improvements.
- Develop and maintain scripts for various operations and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Windows Server and SQL Server administration.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using Powershell, Python, or similar.
- Experience with server virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of database administration, including database backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security.
- Self-motivated, with a passion for technology and a drive for continuous learning.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with CRM systems, specifically those in the ATS space.
- Knowledge of network administration, including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
- Previous experience with recruitment software.
