Design Manager - Sarasota - reports to GM

Clive Daniel Home is looking to add a Director of Design Manager to our team of talented, client-focused individuals to our new location in Sarasota, FL. This individual will have the following essential duties:

  • Coach designers and assistants on departmental, showroom, and company policy, standards, and most importantly culture.
  • Lead and support designers throughout the sales and delivery process.
  • Work with Sales Manager and GM to hire , train and lead design staff, design assistants, CAD designers and construction project management personnel.
  • Partner with the GM to create and execute construction and design contracts and support the project implementation.
  • Partner with the GM to insure CAD and design standards are in line with the company standards.
  • Work with team members to verify any concerns and resolve client issues as needed to represent Clive Daniel as the customer-focused organization it is.
  • Foster a positive working relationship with all departments within the organization.
  • Maintain best practices for retaining margin in department and at the individual designer level.
  • Build and maintain written sales goals and plans for the individual designers on your team.
  • Perform management opening and closing duties related to the showroom.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
