Design Coordinator

Design Coordinator for private label

• Communicate daily with overseas offices and vendors to track development
• Coordinate with designers, buyers, and technical designers to ensure all requirements such as colors, trims, fabric quality, and fit are met
• Ensure on time delivery of samples by monitoring Time and Action Calendars
• CREATE TECH PACKS FOR NEW STYLES AND MAINTAIN TECH PACKS FOR EXISTING STYLES MAKING SURE ALL INFORMATION IS ACCURATE, UP TO DATE AND REFLECTS CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• A least 2+ years of production experience
• Basic understanding of garment construction as well as technical knowledge of production preferred
• Denim and KNIT EXPERIENCE are a plus
• Basic understanding of fabric types and costing requirements of garments preferred
• Must be proactive and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Must have exceptional organizational skills
• Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
