Position Available:
RDH/ Treatment Scheduling and Financial Coordinator (ideally work 2 days cleaning teeth and 2 days TS)

We are looking for a Treatment Scheduling and Financial Coordinator. Our ideal candidate will be warm,

Job Descriptions and Duties Include (not limited to):
● Greet all new patients / support person as they check-in for scheduled appointments
● Verify patient contact information and keep up-to-date
● Answer incoming phone calls from new and existing patients
● Build value for comprehensive prosthodontic treatment in specialist setting
● Must have excellent communication skills with emphasis on listening skills
● Must have great phone and follow-up skills
● Act as the liaison between our office and the patient general dentist office and maintain
correspondence between the offices
● Send outgoing referrals
● Coordinate surgical and prosthetic appointments between offices
● Collate information from New Patient Coordinator for new patients with signed treatment plans
● Communicate office financial policies to new patients, confirm financial plan prior to starting
treatment
● Collect payments and post to patient’s ledger
● Print and mail monthly statements
● Manage clinic schedule according to office financial policies and production goals
● Meet daily and monthly production goals
● Utilize in-house laboratory operational schedule (calendar) to ensure alignment between clinical
appointment and laboratory work necessary prior to or in coordination with clinical appointment
● Maintain treatment sequence sheets
● Maintain patient’s scheduling preferences, specific dates of planned vacations, etc.
● Must be able to pay attention to detail, be efficient, self-motivated and a fast learner
● Must be computer savvy as our practice management system is electronic
● Gather detailed information from existing patients (active or completed treatment), liaise with Dr
regarding appropriate scheduling, staffing, and laboratory support
● Create and present treatment estimates based on Dr’s preliminary evaluation and gather
signature(s) and pre-payment (if required) prior to scheduling.
● Review insurance claims, submit additional information requested
● Contact insurance company by phone as needed
● Maintain collaborative relationships with referral offices and surgical partners
● Must have a desire for continued education and willingness to learn, including attendance at
occasional evening/weekend continuing education events
● Work in single location
● Inclement weather coordination (contact patients from home / remotely pending bad weather)
● Other duties as required
● No dental experience is necessary, but customer service experience is a must
● Opportunity for promotion to Office Manager position for the right candidate

Schedule:

Education and Experience:
● High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Required
● 1-3 Years Relevant Experience (Dental or Medical Front Office or similar, Customer Service /
Hospitality)
