Job Summary
To provide dental hygiene services and oral health education in both clinical and community-based settings.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative
  • Monitor quality of patient care and recommend improvements
  • Assist in developing oral health education programs for community partners
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dental Director
Clinical
  • Deliver preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services
  • Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
  • Stay current on best practices through continuing education
Billing
  • Accurately code all procedures post-visit
  • Ensure prior authorizations are secured for applicable procedures
Other
  • Contribute to outreach initiatives and health equity efforts
  • Support team-based, integrated care delivery
Qualifications
  • Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
  • Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Ability to complete credentialing and participate in a range of insurance plans
  • Administrative experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and English language proficiency
