Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the pricing executive for a regional transportation provider.
The Dedicated Pricing Engineer establishes pricing strategy for asset-based lane flows and dedicated contract carriage. Align and lead pricing efforts to accelerate growth and profitability of brokerage division. Works across Operations, Finance, and Logistics teams to drive profitability company-wide, and partner in establishing and executing on lane strategy. Work closely with the executive leadership team to contribute to and execute strategy and vision. Builds and refines pricing processes and explores opportunities for growth and drive profitability. Establishes Pricing department KPI’s, refine reporting, and update processes as required. Partner with stakeholders to advise on pricing strategies for existing and new shippers as well as contract and transactional revenue programs. Closely aligns with sales and business development teams. Leads new technology implementation to utilize data driven approach to maximize profitability of existing customer base as well as leads from our experienced sales team. Closely aligns and drives growth at our brokerage and logistics division. Travel of 5-20%, for customer visits and implementation roll outs.

Background Required:
- Truckload & dedicated pricing administration (5 years)
- Established pricing strategy
- Expert in creating dedicated pricing strategies & financial models for dedicated fleets
- Data analysis & data Intelligence
- Profitability & freight modeling (yield & profitability of asset-based pricing and lane flows)
- Partners and aligns to sales to drive pitch on priced opportunities
- Partners and aligns to operations to assist in onboarding as needed.
- Dedicated modeling software such as Appian or Mojo.
- Computer literate (i.e., SQL, Excel, MS Office)
- Residence: Houston, TX
- Process automation
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communications (written, oral and presentation)

- Ability to make decisions in a timely manner
