Deburr

Local machine shop is needing to fill a deburring position for machine parts.

Hours are 5:30a - 3:30p / Mon - Thur. Possible OT opportunities on Fridays
Must have a clean background

POSITION SUMMARY:
Grinds, files, sands and polishes metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Lifts and positions metal parts on bench.
• Removes burrs and smoothes contoured surfaces with powered tools.
• Verifies dimensions and radii, using micrometers, dial indicators and calipers.
• Inspects and measures parts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience (1 to 3 years) in deburring Aerospace parts preferred.
• Previous experience reading blueprints helpful.
• Prior Machine Shop experience preferred.
• Proven attendance record.
• Must be able to work any shift and overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.
