Job Description
- Tasks and Deliverables
The Database Analyst/Information Management Administrator, Level 3, will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Analyze data and identify areas for processing time improvement when querying and analyzing large amounts of data.
- Design and implement changes to reduce runtime of stored procedures, thereby reducing the risk of timeouts with key features.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce memory footprint of large processes and updates on databases.
- Optimize processes that run calculations on large datasets.
- Optimize processes that retrieve data from multiple sources to aggregate for calculations.
- Conduct performance and regression testing of the system.
- Develop learning materials and provide user support to facilitate knowledge transfer.

The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum 5 years of experience, within the last 10 years, analyzing database architectures, data access and retrieval methods, and proposing solutions to improve processing times when querying and analyzing data. |
M2 |
The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience in a minimum of three projects within the last 5 years, developing and implementing strategies to reduce memory footprint and improve scalability of processes and databases. Each project must have been a minimum duration of 6 months. |
M3 |
The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 5 years of experience, working with any of the active versions of MS SQL server that are currently within Microsoft's support lifecycle (2016 or more recent). |
