Our client, our leading technology company, has engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to help them recruit a couple of Senior DataStage Developers for contract roles. ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), complimented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.

The DataStage Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) Senior Developer  moves data from the operational & external environments to the business intelligence environment (or between operational environments) using IBM's DataStage ETL tool (IBM's WebSphere Data Integration Suite). 

·         4-5 Year Experience and proficiency in IBM's DataStage 8.1 ETL tool

·          Good understanding of ETL design principles.

·          Good understanding of source-to-mapping logic.

·          Experience writing and executing SQL scripts

·          Experience with one or more RDBMS such as DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Teradata

·          Understands the concepts related to data warehousing, enterprise software integration and business intelligence.

·          Experience in consulting/customer facing responsibilities.

We have two roles available; customer will pay transportation/travel/per diem if you’re located outside of these cities, but the work must be done at client site:

Toronto Role: 3 months plus strong possibility for renewal... must also have SAP experience for Toronto.

Montreal Role: 9 months plus strong possibility for renewal... French a 'nice to have' but not mandatory.

Both roles require experience with v8.1
