Data Warehouse Analyst
Overview:
This role supports the EPIC program, a large-scale initiative to transition from a highly customized version of LoanServ to the industry-standard SaaS platform. The position blends data warehouse development with business analysis and project support, requiring a strong understanding of both data systems and operational processes.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No C2C – corp to corp, No 1099, No W9.
Location: This is a remote position, but travel to Oklahoma City will be required throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design SQL specifications for new data warehouse tables, including:
- Defining table structures
- Writing and optimizing queries
- Supporting development and post-build testing
- Collaborate with Corporate Technology teams to ensure accurate implementation of data models and warehouse solutions
- Provide business analysis and project support across EPIC workstreams, including:
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Solution design and validation
- Testing oversight and coordination
- Support migration and modernization efforts, including:
- Redesign of scripts and batch processes
- Data transformation and reporting solutions
- Warehouse table and reporting enhancements
- Ensure solutions align with:
- Business operations and workflows
- Risk management and compliance requirements
- Flexibility for case-by-case operational scenarios
- Assist in the replacement or redesign of:
- Process batches and automation workflows
- Reporting and data pipelines
- Operational and data-driven processes
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong SQL expertise, including data modeling and query design
- Experience designing and supporting data warehouse solutions
- Have recent, hands-on experience designing and owning stored procedures and data warehouse tables, not just consuming or extracting data.
- Are comfortable operating independently at the data-layer level with minimal handoff.
- Can proactively escalate unresolved dependencies or barriers and drive issues to resolution.
- Spend the majority of their time on data architecture, development, and backend design, rather than report development or BI consumption.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Understanding of business processes and operational workflows
- Experience with testing, validation, and quality assurance
- Experience with LoanServ (highly preferred but not required)
- Background in financial services, lending, or mortgage servicing
- Experience supporting large-scale system migrations or SaaS transformations
- Familiarity with batch processing, automation, and reporting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to bridge technical and business teams
- Project coordination and stakeholder communication
- Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- This is not a purely technical SQL role—candidates must understand business operations and processes
- The role supports a multi-year enterprise transformation initiative (EPIC)
- Work may span multiple domains, including data, reporting, automation, and operational redesign
