Position Description:

The goal for an individual in this position is to develop, document, and assist with implementing predictive models. The individual is a subject matter expert who keeps informed about industry standards, resources, and best practices. Machine learning is the predominant model development methodology utilized, but a wide variety of methods are available. Typical model targets relate to creditworthiness, fraud, offer response, lead conversion, and cash flows. This role will report to the Manager of Model Development.

Analysts must display the ability to deliver results promptly. The minimum and preferred skills are listed below.

Experience and Education:

• 6+ years' experience in increasing data science roles in financial services, risk management, or marketing.
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics is preferred.
• Strong Model Development (Required)
• Advanced Microsoft SQL (Required)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Required)
• Python (Preferred)
• Other Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint) (Required)

You may be required to “test into” your claimed skill sets to show your level of aptitude.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Self-motivation, Time Management, Curiosity, Attention to Detail, Strong communication skills, Problem Solving, Adaptability, and Knowledge of statistical split testing procedures is a plus. Excellent communication and high energy area plus!
