**Job Description: Data Center Superintendent**
Full-time Construction Manager at Risk projects
Reports directly to Management Personnel
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Lead, direct, and coordinate subcontractors/trade labor
- Ensure safety, schedule adherence, quality, and budget compliance
- Supervise Field Engineers, Interns, and Trade Labor
- Oversee scheduling, sequencing, logistics, quality control, and staffing
- Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance
- Resolve field issues, design clarifications, and coordination conflicts
- Communicate with owners, architects/engineers, and commissioning team
- Develop recovery plans to maintain schedule
- Manage WIP billing, estimates, payrolls, invoices, and subcontractor payments
- Ensure work conforms to contract documents
- May facilitate meetings, take notes, or work night shifts
- Perform additional duties as assigned
**Preferred Experience**
- Data center projects
- Low Voltage, Fiber Optic, Security, and Access Controls
**Physical Requirements**
- Climb stairs/ladders
- Stand for extended periods
- Navigate uneven/rough terrain
- Lift/carry minimum 30 lbs
- Use vision, hands, fingers; stoop, bend, crouch
- Wear standard PPE (hard hat, safety vest, boots, glasses)
**Work Environment**
- Outdoor weather exposure
- Uneven ground, mud, gravel
- Heavy machinery, loud noise, tripping/environmental hazards
- Active construction site
**Education & Qualifications**
- Associate degree or higher in Construction, Engineering, Construction Management (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
- Personal vehicle for job site travel
- Proficient in English (read, write, speak)
- Basic math and computer skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (create/edit emails with attachments)
- BlueBeam experience
- Ability to operate lifts (scissor/boom) a plus
