Data Analyst

Position Description

This role will report to the Manager of Analytics. The goal for an individual in this position is to provide insights by analyzing data and understanding underlying business processes. To accomplish this, they will provide ad hoc data analysis, use their inquisitive nature to identify the source of issues or opportunities, analyze the issues at hand, and provide data-supported insights and recommendations. They will also partner with business leads and subject matter experts to document processes, policies, and other projects as management dictates.

Analyst must display ability to deliver results promptly. The minimum and preferred skills are listed below.

Experience and Education

• 2+ years' experience in an analyst position in financial services, risk management, or marketing analysis is required.
• BS degree in Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft SQL (Required)
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel (Required)
• Other Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint) (Required)
• Python (Preferred)

You may be required to “test into” your claimed skill sets to show your level of aptitude.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Self-motivation, Time Management, Curiosity, Attention to Detail, Strong communication skills, Problem Solving, Adaptability, Knowledge of statistical split testing procedures is a plus.
