A 300-bed Level II Trauma Center has engaged Nealy Pierce to recruit a permanent Director of Nursing to lead a division within the Senior Services service line. This respected, non-profit community hospital delivers some of the highest acuity care in the state and is known for its commitment to Magnet principles and evidence-based nursing. This is an outstanding leadership opportunity for a DON who values service, collaboration, patient-centered excellence, and strong organizational support. We are seeking a compassionate RN leader who demonstrates servant leadership and prioritizes quality care above all else.
Position Overview
The Director of Nursing will provide leadership for a 64-bed Senior Services division, consisting of a 32-bed memory care unit and a 32-bed long-term care unit within a non-profit health system. Reporting to the CNO—recognized for being engaged, supportive, and highly collaborative—this leader will oversee operations, staffing, professional development, and daily performance, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and team success.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher is required
- Active RN license
- Servant-leadership mindset with openness to coaching and development
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Experience in Med/Surg, LTAC, Skilled Nursing, or Assisted Living preferred
- CMSRN or GERO-BC certifications are highly desirable, but not required
