A 300-bed Level II Trauma Center has engaged Nealy Pierce to recruit a permanent Director of Nursing to lead a division within the Senior Services service line. This respected, non-profit community hospital delivers some of the highest acuity care in the state and is known for its commitment to Magnet principles and evidence-based nursing. Position Overview

The Director of Nursing will provide leadership for a 64-bed Senior Services division, consisting of a 32-bed memory care unit and a 32-bed long-term care unit within a non-profit health system. Reporting to the CNO—recognized for being engaged, supportive, and highly collaborative—this leader will oversee operations, staffing, professional development, and daily performance, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and team success.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher is required
• Active RN license

• Strong communication and team-building skills
• Experience in Med/Surg, LTAC, Skilled Nursing, or Assisted Living preferred
• CMSRN or GERO-BC certifications are highly desirable, but not required
