Position Overview

The Director of Nursing (DON) will provide strategic and operational leadership for a 64-bed Senior Services department, including:
  • 32-bed Memory Care Unit
  • 32-bed Long-Term Care Unit
Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the DON will lead:
  • Daily operations and clinical oversight
  • Staffing, scheduling, and performance management
  • Quality outcomes and regulatory compliance
  • Staff engagement and professional development
  • Implementation of evidence-based practices
This is a high-visibility leadership role that enables direct influence on patient care, team culture, and departmental performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required (BSN preferred)
  • Proven or emerging nurse leadership experience
  • Strong communication, team-building, and operational leadership skills
  • Experience in Med/Surg, LTAC, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, or Senior Services preferred
  • CMSRN or GERO-BC certifications are a plus
