Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Dedicated Sales for a top ten national truckload carrier.
The DCC, Sales Executive is responsible for developing and managing new local, regional, and dedicated fleet customer base. Hunts and secures new dedicated business. Develops and maintains sales strategy, including standardized proposals aligned with the overall company growth strategy. Provides clear and concise direction in order to maximize sales potential. Establishes integrated solutions in order to meet customers’ needs, requirements, and satisfaction. Monitors industry trends and identify opportunities and threats. Acquires customers for company by focusing on specific lanes, backhauls, new markets, contract opportunities, and niche segments. Meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales objectives. Acts as a representative of the company at industry events to network with industry leaders and prospect possible business opportunities, including potential speaking engagements. Advocates for customers and help drive a customer service mentality within the company. Utilizes superior communications skills to build and maintain effective relationships with peers, managers, and clients. Develops, implements, and tracks sales metrics on a regular basis for visual understanding of performance against plan elements.

Background Required:
- Dedicated contract carriage sales (3 years)
- Proven hunter sales mentality
- Time & territory management reporting process
- Proven track record of producing profitable growth
- National account experience
- Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
- Residence: Dallas, TX (Rework-home office environment)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (i.e., Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation)
- Excellent communications (i.e., verbal, written, presentations)
- Business acumen
- Interpersonal skills
- Patience
- Ability to close and maintain deals
