Job Description

A leading cybersecurity solutions provider in Ghana is looking to hire a Cyber Security Manager to lead the Cyber Department and manage the smooth running of the Department Operations, implementation of cyber project, Security assessment, provision of Information Security professional services and presentation of results to stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in security architecture, risk assessment, incident response, and security frameworks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manages all of the Cyber Team members, including the following:
  • Provides leadership for all cyber Security projects and ensures that they are delivered according to specification.
  • Supervises, mentors and trains the security team to effectively deliver on their objectives
  • Manages the design, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance and support of all client security systems.
  • Generates timely technical reports and provides presentations to clients and relevant stakeholders
  • Ensures compliance with SLA and performance metrics to facilitate the achievement of operational objectives.
  • Builds and maintains positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Deals with threats facing the organization/other customers by working with MSSP team and Supertech departments
  • Communicates technical & cyber-related issues to a non-technical audience

COMPETENCIES

Educational Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Security or Electrical Engineering or related Degree
  • Must have IT Security Fundamentals, experience in the administration of Windows and Linux OS’s, and general database knowledge, as well as general network knowledge.
  • Must have at least 5+ years of verifiable experience in the administration of computer security.
  • Minimum Required certifications include, CISSP, CEH, CySA+ and equivalent
  • Following certification will be plus for the position : CISA, CISM, SSCP, CRISC+

Technical
  • Experience in team management including the organizing and apportioning work to team members
  • Experience in incident response, and management
  • Experience in the analysis, synthesis, and resolution of problems.
  • Proficient in the preparation of reports and documentation.
  • Experience in the development of indicators and performing of presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management
  • Knowledge of information security standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of various operating system including Windows, Linux, Unix, and their potential weaknesses
  • Knowledge of Databases, Applications, Middleware and their architecture
  • Knowledge of security device management and/or SIEM
  • Knowledge of the use of computer security analysis tools
  • General knowledge of networking
