Job Summary

The role involves supporting the Customs Department by ensuring that customs documents for shipping or clearing cargo are completed accurately, facilitating timely delivery to customers. Additionally, the position requires providing excellent customer service in a courteous, prompt, and efficient manner to ensure customer retention and foster new and repeat business

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in the cargo industry
  • At least five GCE/CXC passes, two of these in Mathematics & English
  • Grade 2 or higher Customs License
  • Experience working with Asycuda/ACE
  • Experience working with Magaya an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Highly computer literate
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong Knowledge of relevant Customs Laws & procedures
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods
  • Knowledge of ocean freight operations & procedures an asset
  • Knowledge of Asycuda/ACE
  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Magaya an asset
