Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director Customs Brokerage for one of the world’s most well-respected International logistics organizations providing global air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, express services, customs brokerage and supply chain solutions for customers worldwide.
The Customs Brokerage Sales Executive will be responsible for prospecting new business with a primary focus on promoting our clients Customs Brokerage product to new and existing clients. This is a consultative selling position that strives to understand clients’ strategic initiatives to reduce their global trade operating costs, enhance regulatory compliance and simplify their global supply chains by positioning solutions that address their goals and objectives.

Background Required:
  • International freight forwarding sales (5+ years)
  • Excellent knowledge of customs brokerage
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Excellent B2B sales and key account management skills
  • Involvement in RFI/RFP/RFQ
  • Multi-modal (Air/Ocean, Import/Export, Domestic transportation)
  • Developed strategies and executed business plan
  • Negotiation skills
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Residence: USA
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Customs brokerage license
  • Advanced Degree –MBA
Other Essential Abilities and Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Executive level presentation skills to C level, VP’s and Directors
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • “Hunter” mentality
