About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist & Accounts Receivable professional to join the team. This role is essential for ensuring smooth financial transactions, delivering exceptional customer service, and managing efficient order processing. The successful candidate will work closely with both New Zealand and Australian operations, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities

Reception & Customer Service: Be the first point of contact for clients, managing inquiries via phone and email while providing outstanding service.

Accounts Receivable: Process and manage customer invoices, ensure timely collections, reconcile accounts, and liaise with clients regarding payments.

Order Processing: Handle incoming orders, coordinate shipments, and ensure seamless order fulfilment for both New Zealand and Australia.

Pricing & Client Contact: Maintain accurate pricing records, update clients on product availability, and support sales with pricing information.

Operational Support: Assist in running the New Zealand and Australian operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company processes.
Daily Accounts Tasks

Processing customer invoices and payments

Managing orders email inbox and responding to queries

Maintaining accurate financial records

Updating pricing and product details in the system

Liaising with clients regarding outstanding balances

Assisting in month-end and year-end financial close processes

Supporting the Financial Controller with administrative tasks
Ideal Candidate
-
Previous experience in customer service, accounts receivable, and administration.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (SAP or similar inventory-driven system experience beneficial).
