Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO of a non-asset logistics company who has more than 200 years combined experience providing transportation solutions nationwide and is currently at $40 MM in revenue. They are highly experienced with TL freight, more specifically Reefer and Dry Van.
The Customer Sales Representative is responsible for the complete sales process including prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, sourcing new business opportunities, pricing, and building a book of business. Responsible for the solicitation, brokering and management of all freight for customers. Will maintain the proper documentation pertaining to all loads moved; negotiate customer and carrier freight rates. Will resolve any operational issues. Will call and work with existing customers to obtain loads and or carriers for truck capacity. Will work with Brokerage Manager to generate new customer leads, follow up with both carriers and customers on assigned loads, maintaining productive working relationships with customer and carrier representatives.

Background Required:
  • Progressive responsibility for selling Non-Asset Truck Brokerage (2+ years)
  • Modes of Transportation (i.e. Temp-controlled, Reefer, Dry Van, Flatbed)
  • Customer development, profitability, & market penetration
  • Experience in sector (building materials, lumber, gardening materials)
  • Strong Negotiation Ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Develop and manage KPI’s (i.e. # loads booked, on-time performance)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: Gainesville, GA
