Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Llay Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for Commercial Programme Manager. The position is full-time permanent, and is based out our facility in Llay, Wrexham.

Job Summary:

The individual will lead the UK Customer Facing Team consisting of Account and Senior Account Managers, and will act as the primary point of escalation for all Customer queries. The role is required to problem solve and find resolutions for delivery discrepancies to fulfil Customer requirements, and analyse/ensure adherence to contractual obligations whilst ensuring minimal disruption, cost and an improved level of service.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Primary point of escalation for all Customer issues
  • Ensuring contractual obligations are met for both Customer and Magellan
  • Reviewing variances in demand to ensure maximum output with minimal disruption
  • KPI monitoring on delivery performance, sales, inventory etc.
  • Monthly performance review with all Customers
  • Daily contact with main Customers. Ensuring well maintained relationships
  • Trouble shoot bottlenecks – support to minimise arrears and maximise output
  • Manage simple engineering changes through Account Management team
  • Commercial understanding to be able to discuss opportunities at a senior level
  • Work in conjunction with UK Planning team
  • Travel to other UK sites when required

Position Requirements

Academic: Degree level in Business or similar

Experience: Experience within Manufacturing, Supply Chain and in a Customer facing role is beneficial
