Account Manager - Aerospace/Defense
📍 Los Angeles, CA 💼 Flex Hybrid (Up to 2 Days WFH)
💰 Salary Range: $140,000 – $180,000 Plus Bonus
About the Role
We are seeking an Account Manager to lead strategic customer relationships, contract management, and commercial execution within the aerospace industry. You’ll be the key driver of revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term business success.
This high-impact role involves managing major OEM and Tier 1 accounts, negotiating complex contracts (including government proposals), and developing strategies to support both commercial and defense business lines.
Key Responsibilities

Own and manage OEM customer relationships.

Lead development of business proposals to meet revenue and profitability goals.

Develop and negotiate contracts, including terms, pricing, and proposal responses.

Collaborate with internal teams (programs, engineering, finance) to ensure customer requirements are met.

Use data-driven insights to monitor KPIs, identify risks, and drive performance.

Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, ensuring demand and forecast accuracy.

Travel up to 25% for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Required Experience & Skills

Bachelor's degree required.

Account management or customer-facing roles in aerospace or regulated industries.

Strong experience working with major OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.

Proven ability to manage large, complex commercial and government contracts.

Skilled in contract negotiations and proposal development.

Familiar with ERP systems and forecasting tools.

International business experience.

Data-driven with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
