A high-volume, waterfront restaurant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead BOH operations in a vibrant, fast-paced coastal setting. Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 (Commensurate with experience) + performance bonus, benefit package, PTO, and more!

What You Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume, scratch kitchen—preferably in a beachside or tourism-driven restaurant.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently manage inventory, purchasing, prep, scheduling, and food cost controls.
  • Solid expo experience and the ability to jump on the line when the team is in the weeds.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a calm, solutions-oriented approach during peak hours and high-pressure situations.
  • A hands-on leadership style that motivates, trains, and holds team members accountable to high standards.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a track record of maintaining top-tier sanitation practices.
What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee all BOH operations, ensuring smooth service execution and consistent food quality.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and development of kitchen staff, cultivating a positive and professional kitchen culture.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, control food and labor costs, and work closely with suppliers to ensure efficient ordering.
  • Collaborate with ownership and FOH leadership on menu development, specials, and guest feedback.
  • Uphold food safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and equipment maintenance routines.
