About the Role:

Sunset Transportation is seeking a Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of past-due invoices, and assessing customer creditworthiness. You will become an expert in our operating system, McLeod, and work closely with our finance and customer service teams to evaluate credit risks and maintain strong customer relationships.

What You’ll Do:

Collect past-due invoices by communicating with customers, negotiating payment arrangements, and escalating collection efforts when necessary.
Research and evaluate the creditworthiness of prospective customers
Review and process credit limit adjustments
Track accounts receivable, resolve invoicing issues, and develop strategies for handling challenging customers.

What We’re Looking For:

3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or credit analysis.
Proficiency in MS Office, Windows, and basic business software.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills and time management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
