Credit Officer (3 month contract - possible extension/perm conversion)

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Position Overview

Working in an administrative capacity completing a combination of data entry, clerical, investigations and balancing functions. Successful candidate will require strong command of the English language, both verbal and written. Telephone contact may be required. Perform other duties as required. Provides a broad range of operational support and/or performs general to specialized transactions or other processing activities. Works in an administrative capacity completing a combination of RightFax processing, data entry, teller entry postings, investigations and balancing functions. Able to demonstrate flexibility by adapting to change within business area and unit. Actively participate in any cross-skilling/training opportunities within the business unit. Advanced understanding of MS Office Applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint would be an asset.

Must be available to work various shifts within the timeframe of Monday to Friday, 7:00AM-6:00PM. Flexibility to move to other departments at the same level within this unit is required.

Attention to Detail
Excellent English Communications skills both Verbally and Written
Typing 40 WPM
Must have 2 to 4 years of Administration work and/or customer service experience (either face to face or phone customer service skills)
Call center experience preferred
Financial institution and/or loans experience preferred
