Country Manager for Mexico - Pharmaceuticals

Our Company has been operating since 1958 and is one of the pioneering pharmaceutical companies in Turkey. Our Company, having R&D in focus, manufactures with international quality standards and currently exports products to other countries worldwide. The Operation in Mexico is a wholly owned subsidiary of ours.

We are currently seeking a position for a Country Manager in Mexico City.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Life Sciences
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharma industry. Management, sales, and ophthalmology background is beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English and Spanish
  • Experience in team leadership and department management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team worker, analytical thinker, effective in problem solving and solution oriented
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Position reports to the CEO/Chairman of the Board and to the Head of International Markets
  • Liaising with headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey and composing monthly, quarterly and annual financial and any other reports deemed necessary
  • Recruitment and training all new staff
  • Thorough research of the country and adapting strategies accordingly
  • Monitoring and supervision of the performance of the team and outsourced parties i.e., regulatory and logistics
  • Implementation of an effective brand strategy and ensuring consistency
  • Building professional relationships with staff and clients
  • Always maintaining a good image of the organization
