Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CFO of a Freight Management company, part of a billion-dollar supply chain service provider with rapidly growing capabilities in transportation, warehouse and distribution center support, yard management, last mile delivery, supply chain optimization, and more. The Freight Management company was named on Crain’s Fast 50 list of the fastest-growing companies in Chicago, and on Transport Topics Top Freight Brokerage Firms.
The Corporate Recruiter will manage the full lifecycle of the recruitment process for experienced corporate, sales, and operations positions across two offices. Will work with hiring managers to understand business goals and objections, the nuances of each position, and develop a strategy to fill the need. Will actively source, screen, and evaluate talent to select candidates in a timely manner. Will deploy creative sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive talent. Will manage the Applicant Tracking System: job posting templates, requisition status, and candidate status. Will manage the on-boarding process: background checks, training, collaboration with hiring manager. Will identify opportunities for improvements in the recruitment process and be a thought leader and facilitator of organizational culture. Challenge is to attract and recruit high level talent in line with both position skillsets and organizational culture.

Background Required:
  • Recruiting Experience in Logistics environment (2+ years)
  • Direct candidate sourcing and full lifecycle recruiting
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing sourcing process strategies
  • Proven experience in recruiting active and passive candidates in competitive market
  • Salary negotiation experience
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: Chicago, IL
