ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with operations and maintenance leaders to provide electrical/controls troubleshooting expertise across multiple production facilities and warehouse locations in the Southeastern United States.

  • Employee must be able to provide their own transportation. All travel expenses are covered by the employer.

  • Work with and train plant maintenance technicians to improve their electrical/controls knowledge.

  • Coordinate, manage, and implement small projects involving machinery upgrades.

  • Procure materials and equipment needed to assist in equipment repair.

  • Build a database containing pertinent information associated with PLCs, drives, etc. for all locations.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment through enforcement of applicable policy and regulations.

  • Conduct Electrical Safety Training for all Maintenance Departments.

  • Overnight travel may be required.

  • The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times.

  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.

  • May be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.

  • Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and vibrations.
