We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Development Associate to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience who are looking to transition into M&A. We value backgrounds in public accounting with transaction advisory experience (e.g., due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, or deal structuring).

As a key member of our corporate development team, you will work directly with senior leadership to evaluate, execute, and integrate acquisitions that align with our company’s growth strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the evaluation of acquisition targets, including financial analysis and due diligence.
• Support the deal process from initial assessment to post-close integration.
• Develop financial models to assess valuation and deal structure.
• Conduct industry and market research to identify strategic opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, legal advisors, and finance teams.
• Support post-merger integration efforts to ensure smooth transitions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting (Big Four or similar preferred) with exposure to transaction advisory, due diligence, or valuation.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
• Must be located in St. Louis, MO and able to work a hybrid schedule.
• Willingness to travel 1-2 times per month.
