Job Description
We are looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to work for our Central Ohio client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively in a high-growth environment – comfortable in both individual contributor roles and cross-functional team management roles
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the corporate business plan.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Oversee and set objectives for the team that aligns with the goals of the company
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational innovation and regularly interact with business owners and management on accounting matters.
- Oversee all corporate accounting activities ensuring compliance with GAAP, statutory guidelines, and internal financial policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years accounting experience
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of critical thinking, solid business acuity, and execution for results
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
