We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Corporate Accountant for our rapidly growing client headquartered in the St. Louis area. This position plays a key role in supporting financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Co-lead the month-end close process
• Assist with monthly financial reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of financial records, ledgers, statements, and other documentation
• Prepare journal entries and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting standards and regulations
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Review post credit card activity and assist in future process improvement processes
• Deposit AR checks and apply in point-of-sale system
• Assisting with annual financial audit
• Collaborate with team members to enhance financial processes and controls
• Assist with NetSuite ERP implementation
• Assist with acquisitions integrations
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Accounting
• 2-5 years of accounting and/or related financial experience
• Strong analytical, strategic, and technical skills
• U.S. GAAP knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, processes, and controls
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with Quick Books and NetSuite is a plus
• Strong critical thinking skills with attention to detail
• A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to complete multiple tasks within established time constraints
