Title: Corporate Accountant

Carolina PRG is excited to partner with a rapidly growing residential real estate finance and asset management firm based in Charlotte, NC. Our client provides acquisition and development capital to residential developers and homebuilders across the U.S. They offer a entrepreneurial culture, hands-on approach, and institutional expertise which makes them a leader in the residential real estate finance space.

The Opportunity: Corporate Accountant

You’ll work directly with the Corporate Controller and engage with external clients, gaining exposure to both traditional accounting functions and loan servicing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process loan draws for active development projects
• Track borrower and guarantor financial reporting and compliance certificates
• Monitor and research delinquent reporting or covenant items
• Perform daily bank and account reconciliations
• Support month-end close, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
• Assist with reporting and servicing needs related to our capital partners

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience (real estate or lending a plus)
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Strong Excel and general systems proficiency
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills and professional presence
