Corporate Accountant

Job Summary: The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role involves maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit materials.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
  • Assist with tax filings and compliance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
