Controller

Our Portland client is seeking a sharp Controller. This is a fantastic growth opportunity you don't want to miss to work with great, smart people and in a collaborative environment. This role requires two days in office and has an excellent compensation package with base salary plus short and long term compensation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee financial reporting and budgeting/forecasting
• Manage, mentor and develop accounting team
• Manage period end close timely and accurately
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Technical accounting and research
• Act as the point of contact for external auditors
• Provide financial analysis and insight and lead budgeting process
• Collaborate and support strategic initiatives
• Work cross-functionally

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred not required
• Curious and detailed oriented
• Strong Excel and ERP experience (NetSuite experience a plus)
• Able to build processes that will scale

Compensation: $150 to $170 plus short and long term incentive plan
