An established and rapidly growing consumer goods company is seeking an exceptional Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.

• Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process while ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls and corporate governance.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning.

• Oversee inventory and cost accounting within a consumer goods environment.

• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Executive Leadership to improve profitability and business performance.

• Manage external audits, tax filings, and banking relationships.

• Evaluate and improve accounting systems, ERP processes, and reporting capabilities.

• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team.

• Provide financial insights that support strategic business decisions and continued growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller leadership experience.

• Consumer Goods, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), manufacturing, distribution, or retail industry experience required.

• Strong background in inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.

• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Proven ability to improve processes while operating in a high-growth environment.

Compensation

Base Salary: $180,000
