A dynamic multi-billion dollar financial services organization overseeing tens of billions in assets is seeking a skilled professional to spearhead its financial operations team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial management, proficiency in advanced leading ERP systems, and a strong background in complex financial structures and consolidations. This role demands sharp analytical abilities and proven leadership skills, including the capacity to manage external global resources effectively. A CPA is required.
Core Responsibilities:
- Direct the daily activities of the financial operations team, ensuring precision and timeliness in all reporting deliverables.
- Generate and evaluate key financial reports, providing actionable insights and identifying performance trends for leadership.
- Maintain and oversee the integrity of financial records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Formulate and monitor financial plans, project future performance, and assess deviations from targets.
- Design and implement robust financial processes and guidelines to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage compliance with fiscal regulations and reporting requirements.
- Establish and uphold safeguards to protect organizational resources and ensure the reliability of financial data.
- Handle complex financial structures, including the preparation and oversight of allocation schedules and consolidated reports.
- Leverage advanced ERP systems for comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.
- Guide and collaborate with global external resources to ensure seamless operational integration.
- Facilitate external reviews and prepare necessary documentation for compliance assessments.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with broader organizational goals.
- Mentor and develop the financial operations team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous growth.
Qualifications:
- Professional certification in financial management is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in financial operations within the financial services sector.
- Expertise in ERP systems and related financial tools.
- Experience overseeing fiscal compliance and reporting is highly preferred.
- In-depth understanding of complex financial allocation and consolidation processes.
- Demonstrated success in coordinating with global external resources.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
