Our client, a leading $30M+ manufacturer of custom industrial equipment, is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead their finance and accounting functions. This is a critical "multiple hats" role, reporting to the executive team and managing a dedicated staff of three.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Direct oversight of all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and expense control.

• Strategic Analysis: Lead the reporting, analysis, and explanation of financial results to the management team to drive business decisions.

• Operations Management: Manage banking relationships, risk management, human resources, and all internal/external audits.

• System Integrity: Oversee and optimize the use of the ERP system to ensure accurate data and reporting.

• Team Development: Provide mentorship and leadership to a small, specialized team handling transactional accounting and payroll.

Required Qualifications

• Industry Experience: 10–15+ years of accounting experience strictly within a manufacturing environment.

• Functional Expertise: Proven experience with cost accounting (job costing preferred)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; CPA is preferred.
